Tara Burd runs this site and is the data controller for the personal information described here.

What we collect and why

Grown-up account (email, sign-in details): to create your account and keep your purchases — needed to provide the service you asked for.
Purchase records (which books, when, access end time): to open and lock books — needed to provide the service.
Email list (email, only if you tick the box): to send news about books — based on your consent, which you can withdraw any time.
Basic technical data (IP address, device/browser info): to keep the site secure and working — our legitimate interest.

We do not ask children for personal information. Children's drawings are stored only on your own device, not on our servers.

Who we share it with

Hosting and sign-in providers who run the site for us.
Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, payments, tax and invoicing.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where the law requires.

How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as needed for accounting law; you can delete your account from the My account page. Email-list data is kept until you unsubscribe. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email toby@tbiconic.com.

Security

We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect your information.

Cookies and storage

We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and save your child's pictures on the device. No advertising cookies.
